Justin is an award winning, trade-qualified builder and business operator; with extensive experience in the building industry throughout New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Justin has developed his team to ensure everyone works to meet our clients’ varied requirements and expectations. Innovation and flexibility backed with experience and integrity are the cornerstones of Justin’s work ethos.

Justin is responsible for CDL’s strategic direction, high level financial management, developing business plans and overseeing all aspects of CDL Building’s operation.

MURRAY HURLEY

Contracts Manager

Murray is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.

A trade qualified builder, Murray has a practical, ‘hands-on’ approach to building, which has been developed over many years in the industry. Murray moved to Central Otago in 2002, and joined the CDL team in July 2007. He brings solid experience and a high level of workmanship and project management to his role as Contracts Manager.

Murray shares Justin’s meticulous attention to detail and desire to provide an exceptional final product to our clients.

Murray ensures our site-foreman and sub-contractor teams receive effective support by providing attentive project management, communication and planning.

MIKE SAEGERS

Commercial Manager

Mike is responsible for delivering high quality procurement solutions and the best possible financial outputs for clients.

Mike is a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a wealth of experience working in the construction industry in both Australia and New Zealand. His extensive knowledge of quantity surveying and estimating practices within the residential and commercial market ensures that the commercial aspects of our current projects are managed with precision.

Mike prepares take-offs and tenders, provides advice on project feasibility and potential alternative solutions; as well as all forms of cost control and project financial reporting.

NATALIE SPYVEE

Office Manager

Natalie is responsible for ensuring project administration and associated account management encapsulates best practice.

An administrative professional with over nine years’ experience in office management, business development and project administration, Natalie has a diverse range of technical skills and practical knowledge of general administration operations and financial management systems.

Natalie conscientiously manages the general day to day running of the office to ensure that all aspects of the business are organised and running smoothly.
